The majority of visitors to Germany will probably always be headed to Berlin, an incredible city with a rich history and vibrant scene but one city that has been rising in popularity for years now is Frankfurt.

The city has a lot to offer all year round with one of the oldest Christmas markets enjoying a lot of tourism during winter to the wonderful trade shows and exhibitions that run at the Messe Frankfurt.

Messe Frankfurt is one of the largest trade fair companies in the world and is located at the Frankfurt Trade Fair Grounds in the Bockenheim and Westend-Süd districts. The grounds cover over 578,000 square metres and regularly host the world’s largest motor show.

There’s so much to the city than just visiting the Messe. The Palmengarten is another must see attraction while in town. The only botanical gardens in the city is over 125 years old.  With an abundance of plant life, well attended to gardens where you can relax and enjoy the fresh German air during the summer months while taking in the beautiful scenery of the frosty gardens during the winter months.  The park opens till 6pm in the summer and 4pm in the winter.

The Skyline Plaza is another attraction which brings visitors to the city.  High-end shops, boutiques and markets stalls are all here under the one roof where you can get something for yourself or your loved one as a souvenir as a reminder of your time in the city.
